India’s leading airline IndiGo has appointed Aloke Singh as its new Chief Strategy Officer, marking a key leadership move shortly after the announced exit of CEO Pieter Elbers.
Singh, who previously served as CEO of Air India Express, will join IndiGo on April 6. His appointment has been approved by the board of InterGlobe Aviation, which operates the airline.
In his new role, Singh will lead IndiGo’s long-term strategic planning and oversee transformation initiatives across the organization. The focus will be on accelerating growth, improving operational efficiency, and strengthening the airline’s position in an increasingly competitive global aviation market.
With over three decades of experience in aviation, Singh brings deep expertise in strategy, operations, and commercial management. He has previously led major expansion programs and organizational transformations, making him a significant addition to IndiGo’s leadership team.
