According to airport officials, the pilots informed Air Traffic Control about the issue during the flight. In response, all standard emergency protocols were immediately activated to ensure a safe and controlled landing. The situation was handled efficiently, preventing any disruption to passenger safety.

Seamless coordination was maintained between ATC, airline ground operations, CISF personnel, and the airport’s fire and rescue teams. Emergency services remained on standby as the aircraft approached and landed, highlighting the preparedness of airport authorities.

As a precautionary measure, the return leg from Bhopal to Mumbai, which had 178 passengers booked, was cancelled. The aircraft is currently undergoing detailed technical inspection, and further updates are expected once checks are completed.
