AI Engineering Services Limited (AIESL) is expanding its Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul facility in Nagpur, aiming to attract more international airline clients and strengthen its position as a global aviation services hub.
The company has initiated the process to secure certification from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for Airbus base maintenance. This approval is expected to enhance the facility’s credibility and open doors to servicing European-registered aircraft.
In a significant achievement, an Air India Boeing 777-300ER (VT-ALL) recently returned to service after being grounded for over six years. The Nagpur engineering team carried out a comprehensive nose-to-tail restoration, demonstrating advanced technical capabilities.
The development highlights AIESL’s growing expertise in handling complex wide-body aircraft maintenance, positioning the Nagpur facility as a key player in the global MRO market.
