Boeing has officially delivered FedEx’s 152nd and final Boeing 767-300 Freighter, marking the completion of a major fleet renewal programme for one of the world’s largest cargo airlines.

FedEx first introduced the Boeing 767F into its operations in 2013, gradually replacing older aircraft with a more fuel-efficient and reliable medium-widebody freighter. Over the years, the aircraft became a key part of the company’s overnight express delivery network and global cargo operations.

The milestone also comes as Boeing prepares to end production of the Boeing 767-300 Freighter. The long-running aircraft programme is currently expected to conclude in 2027 once all remaining customer orders are completed, bringing an end to one of aviation’s most successful freighter platforms.

Despite the upcoming production shutdown, the Boeing 767 Freighter is expected to remain active for many more years across international cargo markets. Known as a dependable “middleweight workhorse,” the aircraft continues to support high-volume package routes and express freight services worldwide.

From overnight parcel operations to long-haul cargo missions, the Boeing 767F has played a major role in shaping modern air freight logistics and remains an important aircraft in the global cargo industry.
