Popular South Korean mukbang YouTuber Yuno (Choi Yun-ho) has issued a public apology after facing criticism for placing around 20 food orders during an approximately 15-hour Asiana Airlines business class flight.
The YouTuber, who has around 780,000 subscribers, filmed the journey as he ordered multiple meals and snacks, including seven bowls of ramen, salads, sandwiches, bread, fruit, cheese, tiramisu, and other items. The video quickly went viral, with many viewers accusing him of creating unnecessary work for the cabin crew and potentially affecting service for other passengers.
As the backlash grew, Yuno removed the video and released both a written and video apology, accompanied by a handwritten letter. He admitted he had failed to consider the burden his repeated requests may have placed on the flight attendants and fellow passengers, saying there was “no room for excuses” and accepting full responsibility.
Yuno also personally apologised to the cabin crew member who served him, thanking her for remaining professional and kind throughout the flight. He clarified that the orders were spread across three separate periods during the journey rather than being made all at once, but acknowledged that the volume of requests was excessive. He has pledged to be more considerate while creating future content.
