A group of passengers was seen protesting after their flight was allegedly cancelled due to a technical issue. A video shared on Instagram by @lavin_khetwani shows travellers questioning airline staff and seeking clarity about the cancellation and arrangements for their onward journey.
One passenger claimed that he had already spent money on hotel accommodation, local transportation and other travel arrangements because of the disruption. He questioned who would bear the additional expenses caused by the cancellation.
Passengers also demanded alternative travel options, with one traveller asking airline representatives to arrange seats on available IndiGo or Air India flights. Travellers were also heard requesting vouchers and other assistance.
The video captures heated exchanges between passengers and airline staff as they sought an immediate resolution. The airline’s response to the allegations was not immediately available.
Under IndiGo’s published cancellation policy, eligible passengers may receive a refund or rebooking on an alternative IndiGo flight, subject to applicable conditions and seat availability.
