Buddha Air has officially added its newest ATR 72-600 aircraft, registered as 9N-AOS, to its active commercial fleet. The aircraft completed its inaugural flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj on September 4, carrying 66 passengers.

The new aircraft features modern navigation systems, a digital flight-management system and improved cabin comfort. Its addition is expected to strengthen Buddha Air’s domestic operations and improve regional connectivity across Nepal.

The delivery marks another step in the airline’s fleet expansion as it works to meet growing demand for domestic air travel and provide passengers with more reliable and comfortable journeys.
