Embraer and Regional One have announced that BermudAir has become the second operator worldwide of the Embraer E-Freighter. The Bermudian airline will operate one E190F, leased from Regional One, marking the aircraft’s first commercial deployment in the Americas.
The E190F is based on Embraer’s E-Jet platform and is designed to serve the growing demand for fast, flexible regional air cargo operations. Its size allows operators to access smaller airports while providing more efficient cargo capacity than larger narrowbody freighters.
BermudAir’s E190F will expand the airline’s cargo capabilities and is expected to support freight connectivity to and from Bermuda. The aircraft also demonstrates Embraer’s strategy of converting existing E-Jets into dedicated freighters, extending the useful life of the platform.
With BermudAir joining the E-Freighter program, Embraer is expanding the aircraft’s presence beyond its initial market and establishing a foothold for the E-Freighter in the Americas’ regional cargo sector.
