CAE has strengthened its footprint in India by opening a new pilot-training facility in Mumbai on 15 April. Spanning 4,048 sq m, the centre highlights CAE’s confidence in India’s fast-growing aviation sector and the rising demand for trained pilots.

The facility will offer comprehensive training services, supported by programs for Airbus, ATR, and Boeing aircraft across CAE’s network in the country. It has been established under CAE Simulation Training Private, a joint venture with InterGlobe Enterprises, further strengthening industry collaboration.

Currently, the centre houses one operational A320 full-flight simulator, with plans to add another later this year to increase training capacity. This expansion is expected to play a key role in supporting India’s aviation growth by building a strong pipeline of skilled pilots for airlines.
