IndiGo reported an 11% year-on-year rise in cargo volumes for calendar year 2025, carrying a total of 438,147 tonnes. The growth was driven by increased belly cargo capacity across its expanding passenger network and the induction of three dedicated freighter aircraft.

The airline’s cargo division benefited from higher passenger flight frequencies, which created additional space for freight movement on domestic and international routes. This helped improve connectivity and boost overall logistics efficiency.

The addition of new freighters further strengthened IndiGo’s ability to handle time-sensitive and high-volume shipments, supporting sectors such as e-commerce, pharmaceuticals and perishables.

The steady expansion highlights the airline’s growing focus on building a strong air cargo ecosystem alongside its passenger operations.
