IndiGo has made aviation history by becoming the first airline to commence flight operations from Noida International Airport, marking a major milestone for the National Capital Region’s newest airport.

The inaugural flight arrived at the airport from Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport on the morning of the launch, officially opening commercial operations at the new facility. Shortly afterward, the airport recorded its first departure as an IndiGo flight took off for Kempegowda International Airport.

The start of operations at Noida International Airport represents a significant step in expanding aviation infrastructure in northern India. The airport is expected to ease congestion at Delhi’s existing airports while improving connectivity for passengers across Uttar Pradesh and the wider National Capital Region.

As the airport gradually expands its network and services, more airlines and destinations are expected to be added in the coming months. The launch further strengthens India’s growing aviation sector and highlights the country’s continued investment in modern airport infrastructure.
