Several international and domestic flights operated by Air India Express and IndiGo were cancelled at Mangaluru International Airport on March 9, affecting travel plans for many passengers.
Among the cancelled Air India Express services were the Mangaluru–Jeddah (IX 845) and Jeddah–Mangaluru (IX 846) flights, along with multiple Dubai and Dammam routes scheduled across March 9 and early March 10. Several services between Mangaluru and Abu Dhabi were also called off.
IndiGo also cancelled its Dubai–Mangaluru (6E 1437) and Mangaluru–Dubai (6E 1438) flights scheduled for March 9. Additionally, the Bengaluru–Mangaluru service (6E 578) scheduled to depart in the evening did not operate.
Airlines issued the cancellations through an official release, advising passengers to check updated schedules and contact airlines for rebooking or further assistance.
