A shocking incident was reportedly recorded on a Batik Air flight travelling from Kuala Lumpur to Kochi on August 5, when a passenger seated in the emergency exit row allegedly broke a window and managed to open the emergency exit door during the flight.

Fortunately, the aircraft’s cabin pressure and emergency exit design caused the door to close again almost immediately, preventing what could have become a far more serious emergency. No injuries have been reported.

The incident has raised fresh concerns about in-flight security and passenger behavior. Authorities are expected to investigate the circumstances surrounding the alleged breach.
