Qatar Airways has cancelled flights between Doha and Jakarta after volcanic ash from Mount Anak Krakatau disrupted operations at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. The eruption has caused widespread flight disruptions across Indonesia.
The affected Qatar Airways services include QR956 and QR957 on September 6, followed by QR954 and QR955 on September 7. The airline has advised passengers to check their latest flight status before travelling.
The disruption comes as volcanic ash continues to affect aviation operations around Jakarta, with several Indonesian airports facing temporary closures and airlines cancelling or adjusting services for safety reasons.
