Romania has signed a contract to purchase 12 Airbus H225M multirole military helicopters, strengthening its military aviation capabilities and expanding its helicopter fleet.
The deal is the second contract signed between Romania and Airbus Helicopters under the SAFE initiative. Earlier, Romania ordered seven H160 and five H145 helicopters for public service missions.
The H225M is designed for a wide range of missions, including troop transport, search and rescue, special operations and other demanding military tasks.
