SpiceJet Delhi–Dubai Flights Delayed, Passengers Protest.

Two SpiceJet flights from Delhi to Dubai faced prolonged delays at Indira Gandhi International Airport, leaving more than 200 passengers stranded and frustrated. One flight was delayed by nearly 30 hours, while another departed after around a 19-hour delay.

The affected services, SG 5111 and SG 5105, were repeatedly rescheduled, prompting passengers to stage protests and sit-ins inside the airport. Travellers demanded clear updates, food, accommodation and an early resolution to the disruption.

SpiceJet attributed the delays to operational reasons following the grounding of an aircraft and said alternate flights were being arranged. The airline also apologised for the inconvenience caused to passengers.
