Air Canada has been named Best Airline in North America for the second consecutive year at the 2026 Skytrax World Airline Awards, held in London on September 18. This marks the airline’s 10th regional title since 2010.
The airline also received awards for Best Cabin Crew in Canada, Best Economy Class Catering in North America and Best Business Class Lounge in North America. Its Signature Suite lounge in Toronto also won the award for World’s Best Business Class Lounge Dining for the third consecutive year.
Air Canada climbed two places to 17th in the global airline ranking, becoming the only North American carrier in the global top 20. The Skytrax awards are based on passenger satisfaction surveys involving millions of travellers from more than 100 nationalities.
