Lufthansa has reintroduced its first upgraded Airbus A380 featuring a redesigned business class cabin with direct aisle access for every seat. The refurbishment marks a major improvement in passenger comfort and privacy.
The airline has replaced the older 2-2-2 layout with a modern 1-2-1 configuration, ensuring all passengers can access the aisle without disturbance. This change aligns Lufthansa with current long-haul business class standards.
The updated cabin now includes 68 new flatbed seats, down from the previous 78, offering more personal space and enhanced privacy for travelers. The earlier layout, while suitable for couples, lacked convenience for window seat passengers.
This upgrade reflects Lufthansa’s commitment to improving premium travel experience as competition intensifies in the global aviation market.
