New Kaan Fighter Prototypes Mark Key Milestone for Turkey.

Turkey’s next-generation Kaan fighter programme has reached a major development stage with the emergence of its second and third prototypes. The new airframes are expected to begin flight testing in 2026 as Ankara pushes ahead with indigenous engine development.

  Both prototypes are scheduled to enter the flight-test phase in 2026.
