A passenger from Air India Flight AI2379 has challenged the airline’s description of injuries following the recent Phuket–Delhi turbulence incident, claiming several passengers suffered far more serious harm.

In a video shared online, the passenger alleged that some travelers sustained neck fractures, spinal disc injuries, ruptured eardrums, broken hands, and other serious injuries, questioning whether such cases should be described as “minor.”

The passenger also claimed that several injured passengers had not received proper medical treatment even 3–4 hours after landing in Delhi. Additionally, it was alleged that the flight could have diverted to Hyderabad or Lucknow for earlier medical assistance but instead continued to Delhi.

These statements reflect the passenger’s account of the incident. Air India has not publicly responded to these specific allegations.
