United Airlines is significantly expanding its Summer 2026 schedule, planning nearly 1.12 million round-trip flights. This marks an addition of over 101,000 services compared to last year, reflecting a 10% increase in overall operations.
The expansion translates to an average of around 481 extra flights per day, highlighting strong demand and the airline’s aggressive growth strategy across domestic and international networks.
The schedule is based on submissions to Cirium Diio and aligns with the northern aviation summer season defined by International Air Transport Association, which runs from March 29 to October 24 in 2026.
The move underscores United’s focus on scaling capacity, improving connectivity, and capitalizing on peak travel demand during the busy summer period.
