Allegiant Air announced plans on May 23, 2026, to expand its domestic network with eight new routes across the United States beginning this autumn. The low-cost carrier said the additional services will launch during October and November, offering travelers more nonstop options to popular Florida destinations.
Fort Lauderdale will receive the largest expansion under the new schedule. Allegiant plans to introduce twice-weekly flights to Boston and Omaha, along with three weekly services to Kansas City and Pittsburgh. These routes will be operated using the Boeing 737 MAX 8-200 aircraft.
Other Florida airports are also set for growth. Orlando Sanford International Airport will gain a twice-weekly connection to Trenton using Airbus A320 aircraft, while Punta Gorda will launch twice-weekly flights to La Crosse with Airbus A319 and A320 jets.
Meanwhile, St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport will add new services to Philadelphia in October and Columbia in November. Airline officials say the expanded schedule will provide passengers from several mid-sized US cities with more affordable and convenient access to Florida during the autumn travel season.
