SriLankan Airlines celebrated the birthday of renowned Sri Lankan singer, musician and songwriter Rookantha Goonatillake during his journey from Melbourne to Colombo on flight UL605 on September 5. The flight was operated on the Melbourne–Colombo route.
The airline’s crew surprised the celebrated musician with a special birthday celebration onboard, adding a memorable touch to his journey home. Rookantha Gunathilake, born on September 5, 1959, is one of Sri Lanka’s well-known musicians and singers, with a career spanning several decades.
