Air India has achieved its highest-ever on-time performance, recording an overall OTP of 86% and a record 90% for domestic flights in June.
Air India CEO Campbell Wilson credited the improvement to better aircraft reliability, stronger operational systems, and improved execution across the airline’s network.
He also noted that a temporarily reduced flight schedule and favourable weather conditions supported the strong performance during the period.
The airline has also reported a significant improvement in customer satisfaction following the introduction of its upgraded Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft featuring retrofitted cabins.
The milestone comes as Air India continues its fleet modernisation and transformation strategy, focusing on improving reliability, passenger experience, and operational efficiency.
