Viral Singapore Airlines ‘Foot Rub’ Photo Debunked.

A viral image claiming Singapore Airlines cabin crew provide First Class passengers with in-flight foot rubs and cleansing services has been confirmed as fake, despite widespread attention across social media.

The photo, which quickly circulated online, appeared to show a crew member wiping a passenger’s feet onboard an aircraft. Posts falsely claimed the airline offered “on-demand foot cleansing” for premium travelers on ultra long-haul flights, with many users praising the supposed luxury service while others questioned whether airline hospitality had gone too far.

However, airline crew familiar with the incident say the viral story was completely misrepresented. According to staff, the senior cabin crew member in the image was reportedly assisting a passenger during a medical situation onboard, not performing a luxury spa-style treatment.

Crew members noted that while Singapore Airlines is globally recognized for its premium inflight service and attention to passenger care, foot massage or foot cleaning services are not part of the airline’s offerings. They added that the image is another example of how moments involving genuine passenger assistance can be turned into misleading viral content online.

Despite the clarification, many social media users admitted they initially believed the claims because of the airline’s strong reputation for exceptional luxury and hospitality standards.
