Social worker Tarun Mishra has alleged that he was denied boarding by Air India Express despite reaching the boarding gate at 6:20 pm for his scheduled 6:35 pm flight. He shared a video from the airport, claiming that airline staff behaved rudely and refused to allow him to board.
Mishra also questioned why the boarding gate had been closed before the flight’s scheduled departure time. In response, Air India Express said its boarding gates close 25 minutes before departure and that multiple announcements had been made asking passengers to proceed for boarding.
The incident has sparked discussion around airline boarding procedures and the importance of passengers reaching gates within the prescribed time.
