Heavy rainfall caused water accumulation at the approach roads and forecourt areas of Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport on Friday afternoon. The affected areas included the approach and forecourt zones of Terminals 2 and 3.
Delhi Airport authorities said the accumulated water was cleared shortly afterwards, with teams working to maintain safe and smooth airport operations. The heavy weather also affected flight operations, with several flights diverted due to adverse conditions.
